Energy of the Week
EIGHT OF CUPS
There comes a time when we have to accept the ending of a cycle in order to embrace the calling of a new one. This card represents making the difficult yet brave decision to walk away from an emotionally unfulfilling situation or relationship. You've decided to go on a spiritual journey to discover your personal truth and deeper meaning.
We often look to others to fill our voids, but that will typically lead to disappointment or frustration because it was never meant for others to satisfy. The inner-work has to be done so that we connect with our own truth towards wholeness and sense of completion. Just like the people who come in and out of our lives, we are always evolving. Learn to give yourself time and space to properly heal after a breakup. This is the time to replenish and nourish yourself. Remember to walk in your power and you will attract the same vibration in other people and circumstances.
Call to Action:
Ask yourself everyday, "What do you need to feel loved right now?" "How can I meet your needs?"
Listen to what comes up for you.
Then honor your heart's request. Meeting your needs is a part of strengthening your root chakra as well as giving you a sense of empowerment (solar plexus). Sometimes we need to take a step back to re-align before proceeding with a relationship.
What lessons have you learned?
What can you take personal responsibility for?
How can you live more abundanty?

Energy of the Week
QUEEN OF WANDS
Bold and vibrant energy, the Queen of Wands card is a powerful one to pull for the collective. Wands represent fire, so when this card comes out it is a directive to take action or move forward on your plans. Is there a project you've been wanting to work on? An idea you want to execute? It's your signal to go ahead. Start. Write the book. Make the calls. Send the resumes. Know that you are equipped with the resources and confidence to accomplish your goals now. Don't delay.
Sitting on her throne, the Queen is strong, alert and courageous. She's a master at attracting what she wants. That inviting energy allows her to shine her light of passion onto the world. She is comfortable being seen in the world as her true self. She knows her worth. She's balanced and charismatic.
Examine if you're feeling hesitant, fearful, or insecure. What are the limiting thoughts and beliefs holding you back? If you feel unprepared, how can you trust yourself more? Can you learn a new skill or shift your perspective to get you going in the desired direction? Can you embrace the imperfections and take the next best step anyway?
Call to Action:
Start taking steps towards your desires with confidence. Trust that you've done the inner work to guide you through the process. Be excited about the making decisions for yourself! Trust that if something doesn't work out the way you anticipated you have the power to make a different choice.
Energy Card of The Week
One of my favorite cards, the Temperance card is a beautiful symbology of balance, transformation, healing and optimism. It has to do with the cleansing and refinement of the soul in collaboration with the physical realm. This is healing the mind, body and soul through consistently achieving balance, which can be thrown off by a myriad of things if we allow it: self-sabotage, doubt, fear, impatience, frustration, poor health, emotional instability.
You want to be mindful about where your energy goes and intentional about redirecting it. Understand that the physical and spiritual need to work together to create a desired manifestation. Ultimately, decisions we make from a place of center and groundedness tend to yield the best outcomes. It comes with the knowing that we have all the resources we need within. Look to your personal gifts and skills to help bridge any gaps in your beliefs. Temperance also represents the relationship between abstract ideas and concrete plans, as both are necessary for any manifestation.
Call to Action
Take some time to scan your resources. Write a list of what you already have. A great way I like to break it down is by using the elements:
1. Earth - What do you have physically that you can use? Think foundation, core values, materials.
2. Water - What are your emotional gifts? Compassion, bravery, focus?
3. Air - Where is your mindset? How can you shift your thoughts to serve you?
4. Fire - What drives you? From where do you draw inspiration and passion?
Use what you discover about yourself to create a balanced, fulfilling lifestyle.
With practice you can take more conscious steps in the right direction for you.
