Energy of the Week
Knight of Swords
The Knight is a fast-moving court card in the suit of Swords which represents air energy. When you think of the air signs (Aquarius, Gemini, Libra), they rule the domain of intellect, innovation, communication, rapid and logical thinking, going after goals, projects and love with clarity and in full force. This card embodies the collective energy for us this week as we wrap up August and enter the first week of September!
If there's a goal you've been planning for, now is the time to take action and implement your strategies. It's not the time to hesitate or doubt your skills and abilities. Know that you have everything you need to move forward.
An opportunity in business or love may show up this week for you to seize. The Knight is in full motion on that horse, so if there's a question regarding whether or not you should take an offer, the answer is most likely YES!
Remember that everything we experience is meant for our growth and evolution as individuals and as a collective body. Even if the opportunity doesn't show up exactly how you intended or something goes awry, trust that you will be able to regroup and bounce back. Trial and error and mistakes are part of the process. Don't allow fear of failure to hold you back from a potentially life-changing experience.
This card is a call to be ruthless in the pursuit of your dreams. Swords energy can be cutting, so be careful not to speak too harshly with others, and watch for any unclear communication.

Energy of the Week
This week we seem to be dealing with matters of love. The Lovers is a major arcana card which has to do with union, partnership that is open and communicative, loving and mutual. It came out in its reversed position, so we are looking at an energy that isn't very supportive of this love dynamic. The reversal position suggests there is disharmony or brokenness within a union. There could be disagreements, separation, misunderstandings, or two people no longer on the same page. Sometimes this stems from unexpressed intentions or unwillingness to be vulnerable. There could be hidden agendas or simply a lack of self-love to properly sustain the relationship. It could also represent a misalignment of affection - one or both parties are not getting what they need from the relationship either sexually or otherwise.
The Lovers card does not have to solely relate to a romantic relationship - it could be a business partnership or close friendship that's going through some challenges. It's a call to re-evaluate where you stand. Is this what you truly want? Has it become toxic? Is it time to let this go? Or can things be resolved with some space or deeper understanding? Whatever you choose, make sure it resonates with and honors how you truly feel. Matters of the heart are never easy to work through. I think the safest thing anyone can do is protect their heart by going within first before creating a union so that everyone is not only on the same page, but everyone can confidently thrive without any doubts, fears or confusion.
How will this energy play out for you this week? Let me know below in the comments! And for more insight on The Lovers in reverse, listen to Season 2: Episode 1 of my podcast linked here:
ENERGY OF THE DAY
Eight of Cups
Have you been building something that is no longer making you happy? This card carries the energy of walking away from an emotionally unfulfilling circumstance in your life. Whether it's a project, career or romantic relationship, you may be in a position to do some deep reflecting to muster up the courage to turn your back in search of something else. It may require a spiritual quest, learning new skills, travel or taking a leap into unknown territory. Either way, you trust that you will be guided into the right direction.
We hold onto a lot of things that aren't supporting our growth due to fear of loss or sudden change. We think we will lose parts of ourselves. But why is that so bad? There's great benefit to letting go of old aspects to make space for the new abundance that wants to come in.
Life is an expansive experience. Having the ability to stop, shift gears and go on a new adventure takes courage and tremendous self love! We owe it to ourselves to honor our calling. It doesn't mean you don't care about what's lost, but you've allowed the old experience to take its course. You've integrated the lessons and now ready for a new level.
This is a profound energy of forward movement. So many of us are conditioned to stay stuck. We bought into the systemic status quo and don't always realize the walls we create around our own evolution.
Don't be afraid to continue the journey. To love. To lose. And begin again. This is strength.

Energy of the Week
ACE OF PENTACLES
Aces begin each suit, and in this case we are in the suit of Pentacles! Money, home, stability, health, work - everything that relates to the earthly, physical realm is represented by Pentacles. Here we have a hand coming out of the clouds - the miraculous hand of the Universe, a seed of inspiration - to offer you a gift. It's welcoming you to receive the abundance you desire in your life as it pertains to your physical well-being and material possessions. Will you receive the gift? Also known as, will you accept this challenge? Are you ready to go on this journey?
With anything we desire to manifest, there are steps involved. There is a process to be taken that will surely test us, grow us and allow us to explore untapped parts of ourselves. There is a strengthening in the preparation process to make us a vibrational match or more alignd to the things we want to attract.
As you can see on the tarot card, there is an opening or a doorway that leads to a mountain and the greatness beyond. It's an invitation to walk the path and start putting the plan into action. Pentacles represent Earth energy - Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn - who typically are the most grounded of all the signs. They value hard work, discipline, follow-through, consistency, determination, and often slow and steady progress as nothing worth having is gained overnight. We are called to trust the process with some good ol' faith! Do you have faith that what you want to manifest is already yours and is on its way to you? Are you open to learning new skills and making the necessary physical changes in order to obtain your dreams? Sometimes it's easier to make the mental shift, but not the physical. If you see yourself 20 pounds lighter, but you're not willing to support that vision with daily exercise and healthy eating, then you can't expect to get there.
Everything works together in harmony to produce the great results.

Energy of the Week
The Death Card
Two cards came out as I meditated on the collective energy of the week.
This major arcana card represents spiritual transformation which entails an ending of something to make room for a new beginning. Life is full of unexpected transitions.
Don't think too literally on this one; the "ending" usually refers to a mindset or belief system, negative habits or addictions, toxic relationships or unfulfilling career. If it's ending then you can be sure it's the right time. The Death card has a similar energy to The Tower card which also signifies an abrupt shift in your life--the change can be foundational, systemic, emotional, spiritual and physical. If you've been practicing self-awareness, you may have a good idea of what in your life needs restructuring or ending. Be open to the changes, however uncomfortable it may be, as it will all be for the evolution of your life and purpose. Perhaps the shift is carrying you to calmer, more stable waters.
Page of Swords
The Page in any of the suits represents young, youthful energy. It's the optimistic beginner ready to set out into the world his newfound thoughts and ideas. Swords are a symbol of the mind, beliefs, communication, technology, and strategies. This makes sense accompanied by with The Death Card. As one idea or system dismantles, a new one emerges. This is the birth of new mental energy ready to be put into action. But notice the young man is holding the sword with both hands, not quite stable in his abilities yet, although eager to start cutting heads and taking names! When we are implementing new beliefs and ways of communication, the approach won't be perfect. Expect mistakes, mishaps, a nice learning curve. But keep going anyway! It will take time to get in the right rhythm. There are multiple laws of the universe at play.
Call to Action:
Observe the areas in your life (internally and externally) that need to end. Where does the chapter need to close so the new one can start? There are major mental shifts happening for the collective, and the energy has been potent and draining for many. Take time to rest, reflect, and recharge as often as possible to maintain your strength through these transitions. Keep a journal of what comes up for you emotionally each day. What are the discomforts? How do you feel? If you feel any panic or unrest, do a breathing exercise with your hand over your heart. Be present.
